Hello! I am the founder of Art for Angels, Julia Magliato. Throughout my life, I have had many experiences with people and children who have disabilities. My experience with kids with disabilities mainly comes from my sister, who goes to a school for children with special needs. She has gone to around 3 different schools, and we have visited many more together. I have seen that many of these schools contain wide varieties of children of all different ages who are all special in their own ways, and therefore it can be challenging to find activities that they can all enjoy and participate in together. When they are short-staffed and working with kids who need more one on one attention, the teachers face even more difficulties. This all inspired me to create Art for Angels. Now, I use my artwork to raise money for schools like my sister’s. I have always wanted to give back to the disabled community, and you can too.
